Report a hazard on site without the paperwork
Short answer
You can report a hazard in about the time it takes to describe it: speak, add a photo, send. It works without signal and sends later. Workers never pay for Haznote. Your site manager sets it up, so the quickest step is to show them this page.

Why reports get held back
Spotting a hazard is easier than reporting it, and the reasons are ordinary. You haven’t got the time. Last time you reported something, it vanished and nobody told you what happened. Or you’d rather not be the one who raised it. A tool can’t fix attitudes, but it can take the time out of the opening step.
What you do
- Open Haznote on your phone and tap the mic
- Say what you see and where
- Add a photo if you can
- Send. If there’s no signal, it waits and sends later
Your location, when the phone has it, and the time are attached for you. You don’t fill in a form or pick from a long list. Haznote drafts the written report from what you said and keeps your own words next to it. A manager reads and confirms it.
If it is sensitive
Some things are hard to put in front of your own site manager, like bullying or pressure from above. You can mark a report confidential. It then goes to the company’s confidential contact, which is an appointed Representative if there is one and otherwise an Admin. It doesn’t go to site managers. If your site allows anonymous reports, you can send one anonymously. That’s best-effort, because your voice, photos or the circumstances can still identify you.
Who sets it up
Haznote is free for workers, and workers are never counted in the price. Your manager invites you, or you join your company’s site through its QR poster. There’s nothing to sign up for on this website. If your site doesn’t use Haznote yet, show your manager this page.

Plain answers.
Do I pay anything?
No. Workers are free and are never counted in the price your employer pays.
Can I sign myself up?
Not from this website. Your manager invites you, or you join your company’s site through the QR code your manager puts up.
Can I report without my name on it?
If your site allows anonymous reports, yes; otherwise no. Where it is allowed, anonymity is best-effort: your voice, photos or the circumstances can still identify you. A confidential report goes to the company’s confidential contact and not to site managers.
